We’re nestled in a mostly agricultural community of 5000 neighbors and friends bordered by the Fraser River and overlooked by the majestic Mt. Cheam. Our areas scenery is a photographers dream from railway buffs, eagle spotting, wildlife enthusiasts or simply capturing our quaint rural lifestyle.

Within a short distance from our shop is western Canada’s major greenhouse area. We are very fortunate to have growers of Cymbidium Orchids, Calla Lilies, Alstroemeria, Mums, Gerbera Daisies and many other varieties so close at hand. Their proximity to the Holly Tree Florist and Gifts means to us that only the freshest flowers are used for our designs. Consumers are often amazed at the weeks of enjoyment they receive with our florals.

Our nearest neighbor is the Village of Harrison Hot Springs, which is a very popular destination for visitors from around the world and boasts of a pristine lake 45 miles in length surrounded by rugged mountains and glaciers. Although the water is very chilly, pockets of hot springs were discovered years ago and are piped to the Harrison Resort and Spa where guests can enjoy the medicinal results of a soak in one of the hotels luxurious pools. Many corporate functions take place at this property, however many couples have fallen in love on a romantic weekend away and often have their wedding at the resort. Rowena’s Inn on the River is a charming spot located on the shore of the Fraser River. The Inn offers a wonderful venue for smaller weddings and corporate meetings. The Sandpiper Golf course is steps away from Rowena’s and a popular course for avid golfers. www.rowenasinn.com

The Fraser River Fishing Lodge welcomes international sports fishermen and offers chartered fishing experiences for salmon and sturgeon fishing.
